Hello everyone. I am Maggie Dobrev, from Manassas Northern Virginia. It is a very interesting experience.
Hello, brother Jesse here. Nice to meet you everybody! I am happy to find this place. Keep safe.
Hi Jesse, Welcome! What brings you here? What kind of things do you like to learn?

your ideas is exciting
Hello! My name is Sarah and I would like to introduce P2PU into our intermediate and teen programming options at Akron-Summit County Public Library. Something that I recently learned - how to use google docs to make a virtual escape room.
Hi Sarah, happy to have you here! What kinds of topics are you interested in bringing to your youth programs?
Please tell me more about these gdoc escape rooms! I think I’ve only come across spreadsheet parties.
I don’t have any specifics in mind right now, but we will be brainstorming and asking the youth that come to the library what they are interested in learning more about.
For the gdoc escape rooms, you use google forms to create questions and puzzles, usually with a theme. Right now we are working on a zombie escape room that will be done virtually over Zoom. Some escape rooms just utilize linked google form questions that you can work through at your own pace. To see a bunch of examples, check out this page of escape rooms compiled by librarians: Digital Escape Rooms

Wow, this is an amazing compilation! These virtual escape rooms are such a creative way to share information. Thank you for sharing.
I’m curious to to hear how your youth learning circles go. P2PU hosts monthly facilitator support calls on the second Wednesday of every month if you ever want to share your experiences or get some help with planning!

Hi @Becky_Margraf! My library director @Jennifer_Ashby and assistant library director @Mary_Neuman were in Kansas City (I can’t remember when) and they saw a presentation on Learning Circles. We are working as a team to figure out a way to bring Learning Circles to our public library. Nothing on the top of my mind … yet. Still sorting through this platform and figuring things out. for checking in!

Hi everyone,
My name is Jennifer Ashby. I am the Director at Asotin County Library in Clarkston, Washington. I first learned about P2PU when participating in the IMLS Accelerating Promising Practices in Small & Rural Libraries Cohort. We have a grant from Microsoft which includes offering learning circles, so I am hoping to gain some expertise in that area. We are doing a small learning circle on learning circles at our library in hopes of getting several librarians up to speed on offering them for the public.
