What are tasks?

I tried searching for tasks and found something in the Community Handbook but the video is reported by YouTube as no longer available.

I am trying to figure out what tasks are (I get a general idea that tasks are similar to badges and can be associated with a course, badge, or project) and how I can use them. I have not found anywhere that seems to direct me to task creation but I might be overlooking something.

Hey @James_B - tasks used to be one of the ways we organized content within challenges. Since then we’ve moved to a more generic model for courses where your content can be anything - tasks, chapters, weeks, etc.

Have a look at this course, it is more up to date about creating a course on p2pu.org.
