Hi, Iām Keira, a Portland, OR resident. Iām a trans woman in my 40ās, a former computer engineering student, former software engineer, and presently artist, hobbyist, housekeeper and food delivery lady. Iām interested in learning robotics, artificial intelligence, drone operation, journalism, math, survival, art, photography, drafting, doll-making, miniatures, 3d modeling and printing, self defense, rollerblading, first aid, survival and foraging, and cybersecurity in no particular order (and other topics as I get interested in them). Some of these I donāt need to learn especially well - just enough to do things Iām interested in - mostly crafting interesting stuff and some (lefty) prepper nonsense in case things get worse (if thatās possible, given the current regime). Donāt mistake lots of interests for lots of progress! It will be slow going at many of these, and I think the structured feedback and scheduling I could get by learning in a peer group would help me get more done and achieve a better life/hobby balance.
