Update the list of courses / and community picks on p2pu.org

The list of courses is a bit stale.

What do you think:

  • Change the default view of the page to community picks. That way, we don’t show new visitors a random mix of courses, some of which are not in a great shape.

  • Update the list of community picks. Some of the courses haven’t been very active in a while. And there are probably others that are missing.

I think we need to get the process of curating this down.
Who does it, and how, and how often.

Some ideas on process:

  • Send an email to all new course organizers once a month and ask for nominations for community picks
  • Make it part of the community call, or office hour once a month - do a quick scan, make decisions on what is in or out, and implement right away
