Libraries without Borders put together this 3 minute video introducing the learning circle project in Detroit. The video features Melvin Foreman, a DPL patron who took learning circles in public speaking, entrepreneurship, and online marketing, to help him finish and publish his book. He says that the learning circles “gave me the confidence, it gave me some insight, and the wherewithal in terms of how to actually finish my book.”
