can you run an offline Learning Circle with a course that is not on the P2PU website?
Hi John! Yes, you can use any course materials you want as long as they are free and accessible to the other participants joining your learning circle. This is the same for in-person as well as online learning circles.
The courses on the P2PU website are courses that other learning circle facilitators have found and thought would work well for a learning circle. You are not required to use courses from the library but it can be a good place to start looking for materials that have worked for other learning circles.
If you can’t find what you want to use on the P2PU website, we’ve made a big list of websites that offer free courses that you can browse through: https://handbook.p2pu.org/courses/choosing-courses/finding-courses
When you make a learning circle using P2PU’s tools, you’ll be asked to select the course you want to use. If you’re using a course that isn’t in the P2PU library, you’ll be asked to add details about the course you’ve selected before you proceed with making the learning circle. The Add Details page looks like this: https://learningcircles.p2pu.org/en/course/create/
