We piloted this programme in Denmark. Our participants were not refugees (although they were invited) but we did get non-Danish participants and even one Dane who had recently moved to the area. It had not occurred to us that people newly moved to the area may be just as curious about how to break into the local market as foreigners.
One great example of the power of the group was that one of our participants was importing from South America and had not worked out the best logistic channels. Another participant had a relative who had worked for Maersk, the big shipping company, and was able to put him in touch with someone who could help. This is the sort of mutual help which discussing ideas in a group can achieve.
We have the course materials ready to go in Greek, Italian, Lithuanian, Norwegian and Danish as well as English.
