Abc computer class (learn my way)

What recommendations do you have for other facilitators who are using "ABC COMPUTER CLASS"? Consider sharing additional resources you found helpful, activities that worked particularly well, and some reflections on who this course is best suited for. For more information, see this course on P2PU’s course page.

It is better to prepare hand outs on the Abc Computer Class and give them to participants so that when you are facilitating, they are guided by the contents in the hand outs. You can allow your participants take the handouts to read from their homes, schools or places of work.

This course received a rating from a facilitator!

When you signed up, we asked what you hoped to achieve by facilitating a learning circle, and you wrote “The youth and women in my community will learn more about computer basics which will improve their literacy and social standards.”. To what extent did you achieve this?

Yes

Do you have any stories from the learning circle you want to share with the P2PU community?
We had our first training but almost all the participants wanted to know if they will get the certificates at the end of the programme. We had not even had our first lesson.

Why did you give the course 4 star(s)?
Because the participants responded eagerly and positively and those who did not attend send in their apologies.

How likely are you to recommend facilitating a learning circle to a friend or colleague?

Why?
Because as long as you approach intending participants and explain the benefits of participating in the learning circle, they respond positively. One needs to reach out to people.
